From building printed circuit board layouts to working with various equipment (multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes and more), you will work in a collaborative team environment and work on various projects. Our Automotive OEM Engineering group is looking for a full-time Electrical Design Engineer to join their team in Linkou (林口) office. In this role, you’ll be responsible for performing schematic design, PCB layout, troubleshooting and debugging, using established design standards and procedures. Other essential functions include: ◆ Create self-checking test cases to be used on the target hardware or simulation ◆ Collaborate and add value through participation in design reviews, providing comments and suggestions on design aspects ◆ Design test boards and circuit modifications to test design improvements ◆ Find technical root cause and suggest corrective action for given problems using sound problem solving techniques ◆ Source and analyze appropriate components to meet electrical engineering design needs ◆ Work with the factory team to understand design impacts on manufacturability ◆ Provide reliable solutions to a variety of problems ◆ Estimate level of effort, evaluate new options of similar technology, offer suggestions to improve processes, and provide comments on some electrical design aspects ◆ Use good communication skills About Automotive OEM Engineering group: ◆ https://www.garmin.com/en-US/aoem/ ◆ https://gadget.co.za/garminbmw/

1. 新產品功能測試程式開發, 擬定產品測試計畫(Test Plan), 可與客戶溝 通, 如能擁有 TOEIC 等英/外語證照者尤佳. 2. 需具備基本電腦 PC 相關概念, 包含主機板上零配件知識及基本電子電路架構的常識; 有 Intel/AMD/ARM 硬體裝配和編撰軟體/韌體/程式開發應用 的經驗者尤佳. 3. 使用 Linux, python, RAID, 公司開發之測試系統腳本等, 完成功能程式設計, 如能具備Python 編輯 或 撰寫能力者尤佳. 4. 需協助產品失效原因分析, 及改善測試良率及效率. 5. 需協助 優化產品測試程式, 並增加測試覆蓋範圍.

(1)Responsible for automotive product development: part survey, schematics capture, layout checking, simulation, BOM generating, debugging and testing. (2)Responsible for automotive product development documents: DFMEA, PPAP…etc (3)Collaborate with layout engineers, validation engineers, software engineers, firmware engineers, power engineers and other teams to discover and solve any issues of designs in early stage to ensure and enhance the quality of the products. (4)Accomplish the products to conform to engineering specifications, customer performance expectations. Understand the vehicle certification/regulations/customer testing requirements. (5)Understand the factory production process and testing methods.
