Purpose of the Position: This position is with Manufacturing, Technology and Engineering (MT&E) corporate engineering division based in Asia. The role will support all Corning Incorporated divisions and manufacturing facilities in Asia, Indo-Pacific and US. Project assignments will require extensive travel (up to 75％) to Taiwan, South Korea, Vietnam, India, Japan, and US. To be successful in this role, the right candidate must build strong technical linkage within the Corning Technology Community and the different Engineering groups across Asia and in US. He or she must also drive vendors to fabricate automation systems and process equipment to meet Corning specifications and process requirements for manufacturing. Project involved with: Projects focus on implementing robust, cost-effective automation and process equipment for Corning manufacturing locations. Projects also require extensive collaboration with manufacturing, control / measurement / software systems, process engineering, and other related organizations. Day to Day Responsibilities: •Work independently to develop material handling automation, process equipment design concepts and detail mechanisms in response to manufacturing needs, issues, or problems. •Conduct engineering analysis to deliver robust and cost-effective solutions for fixture / gripper design, material handling, process equipment, and process improvement projects. •Provide directions to machine builders, systems integrators, and suppliers on design and fabrication of prototypes, production equipment and material handling automation. Proactively participate in design reviews, check-out, installation, debug, and production start-up. Deliver integrated equipment systems to internal customers on-time, on-budget, and on process performance targets. •Perform tests and evaluate data to make recommendations on automation and equipment performance. •Collect and analyze material handling or process needs to select suitable off-the-shelf automation such as industrial robots, collaborative robots, AMRs, AGVs, etc. •Program, teach, integrate, and troubleshoot off-the-shelf automation like robots, AMRs, etc. with connecting process equipment, conveyors, and buffers. •Communicate ideas and project status clearly and professionally in writing and orally. ※ 除月薪外，另有各項津貼合計約6,000-13,500／月 ※ 加班費另計 工作內容： 1. 使用C語言進行機台軟體之需求分析、規劃設計方向、程式編寫與功能實現。 2. 負責軟體功能優化、修改與程式碼性能調校。 3. 進行軟體運算測試及錯誤排除處理。 4. 撰寫軟體使用說明文件，包含系統說明與操作手冊。 5. 定期參與技能提升訓練。

職責要求 • 提供完整的客戶技術支援，包括： - 售前技術支援（Pre-sales assistance） - 設計導入支援（Design-in Support） - 售後技術支援（After-sales support） • 工程相關支援（於既定範圍內之客製化開發）。 • 負責退回料件（RMA）的分析管理，並將分析結果回饋予業務及研發（R&D）單位，以進行矯正與改善行動。 • 執行實驗室分析工作。 • 參與製程開發與製程最佳化相關活動。 • 規劃並執行區域內其他業務人員及經銷商之技術教育訓練。 • 提供技術與市場回饋予總部之研發（R&D）與產品管理單位。 • 視需要執行技術層面的競品分析。 • 維護並管理在地實驗室之基礎設施 任職資格 • 具備以下至少兩項領域之多年相關經驗： - 嵌入式系統之軟體工程 - 硬體工程 - 無線射頻系統（RF） - 全球定位系統（GPS） • 8年以上技術型客戶支援相關經驗 • 電子電機科系畢業 • 英文中等

1. 使用3D繪圖軟體，研發設計散熱模組產品 2. 提供散熱模組產品之設計方案，並與廠商及客戶討論修正 3. 針對散熱模組產品之設計方案，進行樣品製作及驗證，並導入工廠試量產 4. 撰寫散熱模組產品之相關報告

Understand how to debug, calibrate, and configure them. •Advanced knowledge on motion systems and how to tune motors and check motion repeatability and stability. •Advanced knowledge on using and referencing 6 axis robots. •Knowledge on using and configuring LabVIEW applications. •Knowledge on using and configuring Beckhoff PLC IO and Motion applications. •Fluent in English in speaking and Writing. •Experience with manufacturing environment. Competencies & Skills •Bachelor‘s degree or above, majoring in Electrical engineering, automation, mechatronics or related fields. •More than 5 years of experience in PLC development in the non-standard automation field. •Knowledge on using and configuring LabVIEW applications. •Logical thinking, able to adapt to fast-paced work and business trips for projects. •Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. •English capability is fluent. Be able to directly work with international colleagues and customers. •Mobility: Travel up to 80％ of the time (travel domestically and internationally as needed)

This position provides support to all Corning Incorporated manufacturing plants in the Asia-Pacific region. Day to Day Responsibilities: ▪Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of work performed and takes a proactive approach to maintain high quality. ▪Capable of working independently to develop process equipment design concepts and detail mechanisms in response to manufacturing issues or problems. ▪Clearly and professionally communicate ideas and project status through graphic and written media, as well as oral presentations. ▪Provide necessary documentation for activities, results, and assignments. ▪Direct vendors in constructing prototype and production equipment.
