[Responsibilities]
- Maintain MySQL, Redis, HBase instances, both in clustered and non-clustered configurations
- Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases
- Prepare documentations and specifications
- Handle common database procedures, such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc.
- Profile server resource usage, optimize and tweak as necessary
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
- Problem response, incident management and audit review responses.
[Qualifications]
Required:
- Strong proficiency in MySQL database management
- Decent experience with recent versions of MySQL
- Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL statements
- Proficient linux environment.
- DevOps experience to support our database
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.
Preferred:
- Experience with in designing, building and operating DBA for the financial industry.
- Experience with multiple DBMS management experiences (MySQL, Redis, HBase)
- Experience with prometheus, Grafana, Ansible.
- Experience with programming skills : Golang, Python.
- Experience with DB design, construction and operation.
- Experience with Manage capacity, costs, resources, and more.
- Experience with Examine, analyze and improve operational efficiency.
- Experience with Project control experience/skills.
- Business level verbal communication skills in Japanese
