    Heller Industries is looking for a Software engineer with experience in Semiconductor equipment software. The position is located in Taiwan, and reports to Heller Taiwan Manager and dotted line to Heller Korea Software Manager. Required Qualifications: • Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering • >5 years of experience developing, testing, or supporting software in the semiconductor / electronics equipment, industrial automation, or process equipment. • Experience working with Tier 1 semiconductor customers (e.g. Intel, TSMC, Samsung) • Familiar with software development tools and utilities including development environments and bug tracking utilities. Desired Qualifications: • Experience with SECS/GEM and SEMI communication standards. • Experience troubleshooting software issues in Semiconductor equipment. • Experience representing a foreign equipment supplier with tier 1 semiconductor manufacturers in Taiwan. • Familiarity with with AI tools to assist software development Responsibilities: • Develop an in-depth expertise in Heller product operation and setup. • Develop software for Heller ovens • Provide phone and on-site software support. • Diagnose and resolve complex software issues in Heller ovens. • Handle software installation and upgrade at customer sites. • Support fab automation testing and qualification at customer sites. • Work with customers, sales, field service, and engineering to compile software change requests to address customer needs. • Compile and update software installation, setup, and operation procedures. • Software training for customers and Heller Personnel Personal Attributes • Team player • Self-Starter, Focused, Versatile • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment as part of a multi-disciplinary team. • Strong interpersonal skills • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Attention to detail and follow-through skills. • Ethics and cultural values consistent with Heller’s standards of excellence Physical Requirements/Work Environment • The person hired for the position will work from home or from Heller’s office in Taoyuan. • 15% travel including domestic and international trips to factory, vendor and customer sites up to 1- 2 weeks.

We foster teamwork, excellence, and innovation, making customer success our main goal. What you will be doing • Implement the Customer Support Policy for the OEM End User. Supervise, maintain, and support company systems in the field. • Support OEM partners, and End Users internal service as defined under warranty and service support agreements. • Maintain, support, and guide proper training to all users, including OEM and End User personnel. (Training will be provided, in most cases, by an engineer dedicated to training). • Maintain proper reporting methods for all activities of customer support as defined by the Territory Service Manager/Customer Support Manager. • Maintain company’s parts inventory under the position’s control. Maintain proper level of stock in accordance with company spare parts tock policy, as set from time to time. • Assist in new equipment integration, “add-ons,” and upgrades. • Provide feedback to the headquarters based on experience gained with customers. • Support the customer beyond the defined working schedule as required.
