Looking for 4G/5G Modem System Engineer with technical depth on Protocol/L1 and technical breadth on modem system, with cross-site collaboration and technical communication skill, capable of direct support tier-1 customers and projects and technical deep dive with customers, in charge of customer requirement analysis and customer feature development coordination, willing to proactively initiate tasks for continuous improvements on productivity and quality and modem competitiveness for the long term.

1.從系統應用功秏分析, 與 IP, SoC 與軟體團隊合作, 推進 SoC low power 軟硬體架構的演進. 2.產品規格定義時, 分析不同架構與 IP 選項, 在系統應用功秏體驗的差異, 產出產品應用 power dash board, 提供產品規格決策的依據. 3.執行或協助功秏量測, 與power model預估的功秏做校正 4.分析PMIC/Power rail 設計, SoC power state 與 data-path power等, 並且提出SOC 設計優化方案 5.提出系統優化的方向, 達到最佳的產品電池使用續航時間與使用體驗

Work on security technologies such as trustzone, virtualization, secure boot cryptography, key management, physical defense and more. Participate in owning the embedded security software architecture used by our products. Bridge the gap between hardware and software architecture definition by defining software interfaces for security HW IPs, defining strategy for petitioning use cases and mapping those parts to various security HW IPs and defining, tracking and optimizing for relevant system. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure architected features are successfully deployed in product. Ensure that the defined solutions integrate well with the operational logistics of HW IPs spec, test, bringup and SW development flows.

The Modem Technology Architecture team is currently involved in the architecture definition, design and validation of MediaTek’s 5G NR chipsets. In your role as Modem Architect, you will be responsible for the architecture definition of state of the art cellular modems used in User Equipment (UE) devices. You will be comfortable working across HW/SW boundaries and will have experience exploring and quantifying the impact of different architecture decisions on performance, area and power consumption.
