【Job Purpose】 Perform mechanical design function for Pen Engineering Department of WTW as described below. 【Key Responsibilities】 The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the mechanical design and development of Digital Stylus (OEM) products, from concept generation (RFI) through product design, prototyping, engineering builds, and mass production. This role requires the ability to create robust and reliable designs that are optimized for high-volume manufacturing while meeting cost, schedule, quality, reliability, and regulatory requirements. • Develop and define the mechanical architecture of Digital Stylus (OEM) products. • Lead mechanical design activities and ensure product designs meet quality, cost, reliability, manufacturability, and functional requirements. • Collaborate with QA teams, suppliers, and EMS partners to optimize product designs for mass production. • Conduct design analysis, feasibility studies, validation testing, and failure analysis to ensure product performance and reliability. • Support product development throughout all phases, including concept evaluation, prototyping, engineering validation, and production ramp-up. • PoC development for new features and technologies. • Evaluate and qualify new materials, components, and manufacturing processes. • Develop packaging solutions and ensure compliance with product protection and logistics requirements. • Investigate product issues and perform root cause analysis and corrective actions as needed. • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
