1.Design, develop, and optimize advanced Generative AI models (e.g., LLMs, diffusion models, GANs) for modem system verification and testing. 2.Develop and lead AI-powered tools and platforms to automate software processes, improving efficiency and test coverage in modem system testing. 3.Architect large-scale data pipelines and perform feature engineering and statistical analysis to ensure the quality and integrity of test data. 4.Lead technical projects using Agile methodologies, driving models from PoC to production and ensuring robust testing and CI/CD integration for modem systems. 5.Stay up to date with the latest AI trends, and proactively propose and implement innovations to enhance automation and testing efficiency.

Machine Learning - Architect/Researcher/Engineer - Accelerator, Deployment and Infrastructure [Overview] MediaTek HQ is looking for Machine Learning Architect, Researcher, or Engineer who is passionate about System Platform, Software Engineering, and Applied Machine Learning (including Deep Learning and AI). This position is within MediaTek’s AI Group. This R&D role offers a dynamic environment, hands-on learning, and a unique opportunity to develop both Infrastructures and Accelerators for state-of-the-art (SOTA) machine learning, as well as to build applications utilizing SOTA machine learning techniques. You will join a team devoted to developing and deploying cutting-edge machine learning and deep learning algorithms, optimized for MediaTek’s NPU—and, conversely, optimizing our NPU for advanced ML/DL workloads.

• Perform 5G/B5G/6G/NTN baseband algorithm designs, including (but not limited to) system analysis, beamforming mechanisms, calibration methodologies, RF exposure control, etc. • Perform ML/AI algorithm investigations and seek potential applications for system performance optimization. • Be able to guide junior engineers if applying for technical manager. • Be able to coordinate multi-site operations and attend meetings across time zones (nice-to-have)

The ideal candidate is open-minded, passionate about learning theory, and looks forward to both practical and challenging problems. • You will be working towards or recently have completed a PhD in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or Engineering. • You have a good knowledge of the foundations of Deep Learning and Neural Networks, including some experience with Machine Learning frameworks (Tensorflow, PyTorch, JAX) • You are a proficient scientific communicator. You are committed to your goals and working in a team. • You are eager to tackle the state of the art problems in the field. We want your ideas to shine! As a Deep Learning Researcher in our team, you will collaborate with our Researchers and with worldwide colleagues, stay up and above the state of the art, initiate with novel ideas, and develop them into algorithms and applications that make the real difference in everyday devices.
