Computer Vision and Machine Learning Software Manager

TSMC operates fabs in Taiwan as well as manufacturing subsidiaries in Washington State, Japan and China, and its ESMC subsidiary plans to begin construction on a fab in Germany in 2024. In Arizona, TSMC is building three fabs, with the first starting 4nm production in 2025, the second by 2028, and the third by the end of the decade. TSMC is searching for a Computer Vision and Machine Learning Software Manager for Mask-Making and computational application. As the leader of the in-house image and AI team, you will be responsible for delivering state-of-the-art technology for defect image inspection, evaluation, treatment, and analysis. Our software focuses on defect image inspection, evaluation, treatment, and analysis. The objective is to become the leading team in mask-technology software, supported by the most cutting-edge tools and the largest database accessible. Responsibilities: 1. Manage in-house inspection project, including image processing code and model structure design, implementation, and verification. 2. Code for GPUs to optimize computing resources for image processing and machine learning. 3. Implement style transfer and GAN for high-accuracy image simulation. 4. Intelligent Scheduling Development Department (ISDD) in TSMC‘s Intelligent Manufacturing Center (IMC) is responsible for the dispatch and scheduling of various TSMC fabs. It considers multiple constraints such as processes, machines, products, and waiting times, and employs three main methods: 1. Automated rules (Rule based) 2. Optimization through mathematical planning models (Model) 3. Optimization with metaheuristic algorithms (Metaheuristic) The system determines the sequence of products that machines will produce in the future. Colleagues continuously refine the computational engine to improve solving performance and scheduling quality. They also utilize self-developed scheduling systems to help fabs adapt to various scenarios to achieve fab goals and tasks. Moreover, they constantly enhance fab production efficiency and increase wafer output by identifying and capitalizing on opportunities for improvement. Responsibilities: 1. Develop and maintain Scheduling / Dispatching and Manufacturing Report System. 2. Communicate with users to define requirements, design, implement, and deploy systems, and continuously improve them using software engineering methodology. 3. The Facility Computer Integrated Manufacturing Department (FDCIM) is part of the Intelligent Manufacturing Center (IMC) at TSMC. It is primarily responsible for the development and maintenance of the following products: 1. Development and maintenance of manufacturing-related report products for wafer fabs. 2. Development and maintenance of engineering-related report products for wafer fabs. 3. Development and maintenance of digital operation system products for facility management. 4. Development and maintenance of big data application system products for facility management. 5. Development and maintenance of facility management AI and machine learning related algorithm development and application system products. FDCIM also employs software engineering and modular development techniques, combined with high-performance database application technologies, to develop systematized software with a unified version control system that accommodates different time zones and languages globally. In addition to its regular software product development work, FDCIM is also engaged in the research and development of new technologies, including the application of DevOps, Microservices, MLOps, AIOps, and more. Responsibilities: 1. Develop and maintain AI/ML systems and algorithms 2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve business problems using AI/ML techniques 3. Design and implement machine learning models and data pipelines 4. Test and validate AI models for accuracy, scalability, and efficiency 5. Deploy AI solutions to production environments 6. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI technologies and industry trends 7. Write clean and efficient code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript 8. Optimize web applications for speed and scalability 9. Test and debug web applications across multiple browsers and devices 10.
