We are seeking a highly motivated Software Team Leader, who combines technical leadership, system-level thinking, and cross-functional collaboration with R&D, Operations, and global customers to enable efficient diagnostics, automation, and intelligent data integration. Responsibilities •Lead the software team to design, develop, and integrate diagnostic software solutions for AI server and storage platforms. •Build a unified Diagnostics OS that supports modular and reusable test components across multiple products and customers. •Drive automation, standardization, and integration with production lines. •Collaborate with R&D and Operations to enable efficient issue diagnosis and resolution throughout the product lifecycle. •Develop and maintain automation tools, test scripts, and diagnostic libraries for manufacturing. •Define and enforce standard interfaces and log formats for seamless integration with the operation flow. •Document diagnostic procedures, APIs, and best practices. •Evaluate and adopt new tools or technologies to enhance testing efficiency and data analytics. Qualifications • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, able to respond quickly to customer and factory issues from different time zones. • Solid understanding of server system, AI server architecture, and diagnostics workflows. • Experience leading software teams and coordinating with cross-functional teams for global customers. • Proficient in software development lifecycle management and quality assurance practices.

What You Will Do •Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites for firmware and software running on Linux-based embedded devices. •Develop test tooling for wireless protocol validation, radio behavior, connectivity, and system-level integration across endpoint and gateway components. •Automate regression, stress, and interoperability testing and integrate it into the CI/CD pipeline. •Instrument the system to capture logs, metrics, and failures, and improve test coverage and reliability over time. •Work closely with the firmware and software engineers to reproduce, isolate, and drive defects to resolution. Core Skills Required •Hands-on domain knowledge in wireless communications — protocols, RF behavior, connectivity, and wireless test methodology (for example BLE, sub-GHz / LoRa-class radios, Wi-Fi, or similar). •Strong test-automation and software development skills, typically in Python and/or C/C++, including framework and tooling development. •Experience testing firmware or software on Linux-based embedded devices. •Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated test integration. •Able to work on-site in Hsinchu and collaborate directly with an in-house engineering team. Nice to Have •Experience with low-power wide-area, mesh, or similar wireless connectivity ecosystems. •Experience with connected consumer device or IoT programs (smart home, wearables, embedded systems). •Familiarity with RF test equipment and protocol analyzers. •Working proficiency in Mandarin for on-site collaboration (English working proficiency required). Engagement This is a long-term, on-site consulting engagement in Hsinchu, embedded with the client‘s SDET/QA team. Consultants who meet the wireless and automation requirements will be considered on a rolling basis.
