【AITE】(Automation Infrastructure and Tools Engineering) team: provide automation & tools solution to support server design, validation and MFG production. (1) BMC/BIOS/HW/performance test tools and automation (2) MFG L6/L10/L11 etc. test solution (3) Automation test platform development 工作內容: 1.負責伺服器診斷平台於設計驗證（Design Validation, DV）與量產製造（Manufacturing, MFG）階段之整體架構規劃與設計。 2.建立並制定 Diagnostic Platform、Validation Framework、Automation Infrastructure 與測試流程標準。 3.規劃並整合 X86 Server 系統相關診斷方案，涵蓋 CPU、DIMM、NIC、GPU、Switch、PDU、Storage、NVMe 與相關子系統。 4.主導系統架構演進、技術決策與平台最佳化，提升系統可擴展性（Scalability）、可維護性（Maintainability）與穩定性（Reliability）。 5.建立跨 Design Validation 與 Manufacturing 共用之診斷框架與平台架構。 6.與硬體、韌體、軟體、Validation、Manufacturing 及全球研發團隊跨部門合作，制定技術策略與開發標準。 7.提供全球開發團隊技術方向與架構指導，推動跨區域（Cross-Geo / Cross-Site）技術合作與最佳實務建立。 8.評估新技術與新平台需求，制定未來 Server Diagnostic Platform 技術藍圖（Technical Roadmap）。 9.帶領開發團隊落實架構設計，協助解決高複雜度系統問題與平台整合議題。 ※依學經歷、工作年資敘薪 Job Description: 1. Lead architecture planning and design of server diagnostic platforms across Design Validation (DV) and Manufacturing (MFG) environments. 2. Define and establish diagnostic platforms, validation frameworks, automation infrastructure, and testing standards. 3. Architect and integrate diagnostic solutions for X86 server systems, including CPU, DIMM, NIC, GPU, Switch, PDU, Storage, NVMe, and related subsystems. 4. Drive platform evolution, technical decision-making, and system optimization to improve scalability, maintainability, and reliability. 5. Establish unified diagnostic frameworks and shared platform architecture across validation and manufacturing environments. 6. Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware, firmware, software, validation, manufacturing, and global engineering teams to define technical strategies and development standards. 7. Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to global development teams while promoting cross-geo technical collaboration and best practices. 8. Evaluate new technologies and define future technical roadmaps for server diagnostic platforms. 9. Lead development teams in implementing architecture designs and resolving complex system-level technical issues.

Research on Optimization of Deep Learning Model Inference and Training The Computer Systems Laboratory - Machine Learning Systems team focuses on research areas including parallel and distributed computing, compilers, and computer architecture. We aim to leverage computer system technologies to accelerate the inference and training of deep learning models and develop optimizations for next-generation AI models. Our research emphasizes the following: 1. AI Model Compression and Optimization Model compression techniques (e.g., pruning and quantization) reduce the size and computational demands of AI models, which are crucial for resource-constrained platforms such as embedded systems and memory-limited AI accelerators. We aim to explore: * AI compiler: deployment methods for compressed models across servers, edge devices, and heterogeneous systems. * High performance computing: efficient execution of compressed models on processors with advanced AI extensions, e.g., Intel AVX512, ARM SVE, RISC-V RVV, and tensor-level accelerations on GPUs and NPUs. 2. AI Accelerator Design We aim to design AI accelerators for accelerating AI model inference, focusing on software and hardware co-design and co-optimization. 3. Optimization of AI Model Inference in Heterogeneous Environments Computer architectures are evolving toward heterogeneous multi-processor designs (e.g., CPUs + GPUs + AI accelerators). Integrating heterogeneous processors to execute complex models (e.g., hybrid models, multi-models, and multi-task models) with high computational efficiency poses a critical challenge. We aim to explore: * Efficient scheduling algorithms. * Parallel algorithms for the three dimensions: data parallelism, model parallelism, and tensor parallelism. 薪資：博士64711元起聘，該職缺係「適用勞動基準法」

深度學習模型推論和訓練優化研究 (Optimization of Deep Learning Model Inference and Training) Machine Learning Systems團隊的研究方向包括：平行與分散式計算、編譯器、以及計算機架構。我們利用電腦系統的技術加速深度學習模型推論和訓練，並研究下一世代機器學習模型的系統開發和優化。 我們的研究方向著重於： 1. 模型壓縮與計算優化研究。 模型壓縮技術 (pruning and quantization) 透過減少AI模型容量與運算量，實現模型執行加速，對於嵌入式系統等資源受限的計算平台以及記憶體有限的AI加速器至關重要。為了有效執行壓縮後的模型，許多次世代處理器設計了新的運算功能，例如向量運算 (Intel AVX512, ARM SVE, RISC-V RVV) 和矩陣加速器 (matrix-multiplication unit on GPUs and NPUs) 等強化功能。我們將研究 (1) 如何利用這些強化運算功能加速壓縮模型的執行，(2) 各種計算平台，例如伺服器、邊緣裝置、異質系統等的壓縮模型的佈署方法。 2. AI加速器設計。 針對深度學習模型的推理加速，在FPGA板上實現AI加速器硬體設計，並進行軟硬體協同設計與優化研究。 3. 異質環境下深度學習模型推論優化研究。 智慧系統如自駕車與語音助理，通常需執行複雜的深度學習模型 (complex deep learning models: hybrid models, multi-models, and multi-task models)。與此同時，電腦架構正朝向異質多處理器設計發展 (heterogeneous architecture: CPUs+GPUs+AI accelerators)。如何整合異質處理器來執行複雜模型並達到高效能的運算，成為一項關鍵且具挑戰性的研究。針對此問題，我們將探討以下方向：(1) 模型運算與異質處理器的分配策略，(2) 排程演算法設計，(3) 模型執行平行化方法，包括資料平行（data parallelism）、模型平行（model parallelism）與張量平行（tensor parallelism）。 上述研究議題為國內外深度學習系統領域之重要發展方向，產業界及學術界均需此方面人才。適合擬專心研究，未來從事學術工作者或研發工作者，對於未來規劃進修博士學位者, 本實驗室之研究計畫提供優良之訓練環境與研究經歷。 薪資：碩士44968元起薪，該職缺係「適用勞動基準法」
