UltraSense Systems is looking for a strong Mechanical Engineer. Main responsibilities include integrating UltraSense HMI products across multiple applications from consumer products to automotive field. The candidate will be involved in the entire development process from initial concept through manufacturing and production. Job Description: - Lead product designs for consumer electronics, automotive, and appliances throughout the entire development cycle, from concept to manufacturing. - Focus on the appearance, functionality, and manufacturability of products, creating adaptable parametric surface models. - Utilize commercial finite element software to assess and optimize mechanical structures, enhancing sensor performance through simulation. - Improve user experience with well-executed designs, developing practical Mockups. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Mechanical Engineering, to find innovative solutions, optimize product design, and address design issues. Requirements: - Hold a Master‘s degree or above in a scientific or technical discipline with at least 5 years of mechanical design/simulation experience. - Proficiency in 3D CAD systems and excellent sketching skills are essential. - Familiarity with ABAQUS and ability to build meshes for thermal and structural simulations. Knowledge in other fields is a plus. - Experience in assembly, tolerance analysis, system/product level characterization, and material testing. - Strong conceptualization, creative problem-solving skills, mechanical aptitude, and a basic understanding of various manufacturing processes. - Effectively bilingual in Mandarin and English, with excellent written and spoken communication skills.
