This role will support our global sourcing and engineering team in evaluating and developing packaging that is both cost-effective and performance-driven. The successful candidate will focus on improving strength-to-material ratios, minimizing SKU complexity, and solving real-world packaging challenges such as transit damage, inefficient space utilization, and material waste. This role will partner closely with packaging suppliers, manufacturing vendors, and internal teams to evaluate current packaging and lead new design development. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities • Analyze existing packaging SKUs to identify opportunities for cost reduction and material efficiency • Engineer packaging solutions that are structurally optimized to reduce product loss/damage during transit and handling • Lead packaging design improvements by studying competitive benchmarks, customer feedback, and internal pain points • Collaborate with packaging and manufacturing suppliers to gather insights on industry packaging trends and materials • Standardize packaging formats to help reduce complexity • Work cross-functionally with Quality, Sourcing, and Product teams to validate packaging performance through real-world testing and simulation • Support packaging documentation, testing protocols, and technical specifications for production
