Position : Senior Manager, Inventory Planning and Management The Taiwan team is super excited to bring the selection, price, and convenience of Coupang to customers in Taiwan. As we rapidly scale this highly visible new market, we are looking for smart and driven leaders who want to solve tough problems and make a meaningful impact to the lives of customers and vendors in Taiwan. The Instock team is a critical component by managing inventory to build and maintain new selection while controlling costs such as overstock. The team works closely with cross-functional teams including business/vendor managers, supply chain, product, program and finance to deliver a world class e-commerce shopping experience. What you will do? • Work backwards from the needs of the customers and vendors to deliver the right inventory, at the right time, and at the right place. • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure that customer in-stock and vendor needs are surpassed • Drive business growth by ensuring that customer desired items are always in-stock and sufficiently stocked up • Partner with vendors at the right cadence to optimize metrics such as lead-time, and fill-rate • Utilize data to effectively prioritize the most impactful actions to deliver key business results. • Effectively dive deep to identify the root cause of issues, develop solutions and implement the solve. • Manage ordering process and systems to effectively balance competing business priorities. • Guide the development of processes and controls to monitor behavior of Forecasting, Inbound, and Inventory Management systems and continuously improve existing capabilities. Qualifications: • 10+ years of relevant work experience in the areas of Demand Forecasting, Ordering, Procurement, Inventory Management and Supply Chain. • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain-related fields. • Demonstrated ability to partner with vendors to deliver business results. • Superior oral and written communication skills with an innate attention to detail, and ability to influence without authority. • Passion to grow and take on increasing responsibility and challenges. • Ability to set high standards and drive others to excellence. • Ability to effectively use data to complete analyses. Strong Excel proficiency required, SQL and other technical skills are a plus. • Ability to set lofty goals with the relentless drive and ownership to constantly challenge what is possible. • Experience collaborating with Sales and Operations stakeholders; in e-Commerce and/or Retail industry preferred.

We have recently launched our services in Taiwan including Rocket Delivery and Rocket Overseas which offers free international delivery on millions of best-selling products from Korea, the U.S., and beyond. We are looking for talents to help us lead Coupang’s expansion in Taiwan. Position: Principal, Transportation What You Will Do: Planning: Daily and weekly planning with the carriers, ensuring the loads are covered according to the routing plan prepared by the carrier managers. TMS: Operating the Transportation Management System (TMS) for communication with carriers and internal parties. Develop and enhance the TMS together with the Product/Tech team. Daily Operation: Manage the ad-hoc additional loads, cancellations, and other unexpected situations so that the Taiwan Transport Network can stick to its commitment to on-time delivery against the lowest possible costs. Work closely with internal parties to provide real-time support on all transportation related matters. Reporting/Analysis: Reporting and analysis through tools, portals, and reports; using advanced computer literacy (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, TMS, BI, etc.). Attend/arrange cadence meetings to close off the performance gap issues. Operation Process: Develop, review, and enhance the processes to continuously improve efficiency. Carriers Management: Build a rapport with carriers to ensure we receive top class service level. Following up with the carriers to ensure they are working according to the set expectations and agreements. This includes tracking loads and reacting to issues/warnings that the system is generating. Systematically escalate problems to the relevant carrier manager‘s teams and follow through on the resolutions to ensure that they are delivered. Finance: Ensure the carriers‘ billing is properly tracked, and processed, and payments made according to the commitment. Procurement: To introduce a new 3PL to enhance the service level at the lowest possible cost. Essential Qualifications: • Proven transportation experience. Plan and organize work. • 5+ years of management experience in a Logistics, Transportation, EC Fulfillment center/ Warehouse environment. • University Level or equivalent is required. • Computer literate and has above average internet/web skills. • Advanced level analytical skills. • Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships. • Work effectively as a team member. • Meet schedules and timelines. • Communicate both orally and in writing clearly and concisely.
