    Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Implementation Expert. The role involves acting as the primary point of reference for the SAP implementation, ensuring alignment across all stakeholders. This person will interface with business users, colleagues in Italy, and the external vendor, coordinating activities, gathering and translating requirements, and ensuring clear and effective communication. The person will support the project by monitoring progress, proactively resolving issues, and ensuring that solutions meet business needs and project timelines. Additionally, the role includes guaranteeing alignment between SAP and legacy systems, as well as coordinating with third-party providers responsible for managing those systems. 1. Core Responsibilties • Configure and maintain SAP systems and modules • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues • Support SAP implementation, upgrades, and enhancements • Provide technical and functional support to end users, and Manage user accounts, roles, and authorizations • Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions 2. ERP System Architecture & Implementation • Design, implement, and maintain an integrated ERP system supporting end-to-end business processes, including, among the others, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay), and Manufacturing / Production processes. • Configure ERP modules to support production planning, material management, inventory control, costing, and production execution. • Ensure ERP configuration aligns with business requirements, operational processes, and manufacturing best practices. • Support master data governance (materials, BOMs, routings, work centers, vendors, customers) ensuring consistency and data quality across processes. 3. ERP Process Integration & Technology Transfer (Italy → Local Site) • Collaborate with Italian business, IT, and ERP teams to transfer existing ERP process templates configured and defined in Italy, system configuration, and operational models to the local site. • Analyze legacy ERP implementations and business processes from the Italian site and adapt them to local organizational and regulatory requirements. • Manage ERP configuration alignment, data migration, and validation to ensure process continuity and functional equivalence. • Document end-to-end process flows, ERP configuration settings, and functional specifications transferred from the Italy site. 4. ERP–MES Integration & Manufacturing Support • Define and support interfaces between ERP and MES for real-time production feedback, traceability, and reporting. • Ensure alignment between ERP production planning and MES shop-floor execution. • Support production-related KPIs, efficiency monitoring, and traceability requirements through ERP–MES integration. 5. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Continuous Improvement • Act as a key link between business users, manufacturing, IT, and external system integrators. • Support user acceptance testing (UAT), integration testing, and end-to-end validation of ERP and MES processes. • Identify system and process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency, data accuracy, and operational stability. • Provide functional support during go-live phases and post-go-live stabilization. 6. Documentation, Training & Governance • Prepare and maintain functional documentation, system configuration guides, and process procedures. • Support training activities for key users and operational teams on SAP processes. • Contribute to governance activities, including change management, transport validation, and release planning.
