About the Job We are seeking a highly qualified Test System Electrical Engineer to join Garmin Automotive OEM based in Linkou. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with global leading automotive manufacturers to design and produce high quality products, including infotainment, rear seat entertainment, cluster systems, and next generation electrical vehicle systems. As a Test System Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and executing the test system and conducting HW/SW validation builds in the lead plant. You will be expected to optimize the tact time and yield rate, and troubleshoot manufacturing issues with our global cross-functional teams. This position requires a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual who is able to work independently while collaborating effectively with global partner to achieve successful outcomes. Responsibility 1. Lead the validation builds in the plant. 2. Resolve issues related to manufacturing. 3. Plan and design electrical and performance tests to evaluate the quality of hardware solutions. 4. Create test cases and collaborate with the engineering team to ensure compliance with functional and electrical requirements. About the opportunity Working as part of a high-performing team, you will apply your technical skill and knowledge to deliver fully maintained and serviceable flight simulators to Ansett Aviation Asia(〝AAA〝)’s customers. Position Overview This is an exciting full-time role covering aspects of Electronics, Aircraft simulation, and modern computing. The Simulator Technician works as part of a team applying technical knowledge to operate and maintain fully serviced flight simulators for use by AAA’s customers. Requires complex fault-finding skills to quickly isolate and repair faults to the flight simulators. Key Responsibilities • Daily maintenance to ensure simulators are ready for training. • Performing line maintenance to rectify crew-reported faults. • Carrying out maintenance to the required standards. • Ensuring simulators are compliant with CAA/EASA regulations. • Installing and updating software as required. • Provide technical support and assistance to simulator upgrade projects. • Participate in continuous improvement activities. • Delivering outcomes, in a timely, responsive, customer-focused, and quality-driven manner. • Committed to working safely and ensuring all OHS instructions, policies, and procedures are applied. • Other tasks as requested by the manager within the skillset.
