As a key member of the Asia Software Quality team, you will help ensure the smooth execution of data collection tasks during product development. Acting as the primary bridge between internal engineering teams and external test volunteers, you will coordinate product testing, guide subjects through data collection, and support data validation. Your work ensures we capture high quality data to optimize product performance globally. Essential Functions 1. Test Coordination and External Communication -Serve as the primary point of contact for external test volunteers. Responsible for recruiting testers, booking facilities and maintaining test equipment. -Clearly communicate test protocols and device operations to external testers to ensure successful data collection. 2. Data Collection -Independently conduct data collection sessions at off-site locations according to established protocols. -Accurate record test data, identify basic issues during testing and clearly communicate troubleshooting steps or problems to technical teams. 3. Internal Collaboration and Project Administration -Work collaboratively and professionally with internal teams to achieve shared project goals. -Manage daily administrative tasks to ensure smooth internal operations. Required Qualifications 1. Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills 2. Highly detail-oriented and responsible, with proficiency in MS Excel. Capable of independently and accurately completing data entry and basic validation. 3. Highly patient and service-oriented, with the ability to effectively handle detailed recruitment and operational tasks. 4. Excellent time management skills and flexibility to accommodate some evening and weekend test sessions. 5. Strong cross-functional communication skills.

DEPARTMENT INTRODUCTION: The Core Antenna Team is part of the Core Platform Technology team. It offers antenna solutions with superior performance on the most challenging products through innovative antenna design, prototyping, and validation to exceed customer connectivity expectations. POSITION SUMMARY: Under supervision of Management or Mentor, design and develop antennas for moderately complex form factors of Garmin products. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: ● Design and develop moderately complex antennas (example: single and dual band) for products derived primarily from existing products including simulations, prototyping and evaluation ● Proficiently use one of the antenna simulation software (example: XFDTD, CST, HFSS etc.) ● Familiar with the use of lab benches (e.g. multimeters, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, soldering iron, etc.) ● Capable of running antenna chamber (passive and active measurements) ● Knowledgeable of Garmin’s internal and external radiated specifications and corresponding limits and guidelines from regulatory and standard bodies like: FCC, CTIA, 3gPP etc. ● Offer suggestions for antenna manufacturing process improvement ● Review schematic and PCB layout for antenna contacts and corresponding matching circuits ● Find root cause and suggest corrective action for given antenna problems ● Work with the factory team to understand design impacts on manufacturability ● Proficient in English – written and oral communication ● Use good communication skills with Design team, mechanical engineers, leadership and all responsible parties
