Upper School Science Assistant
面議(經常性薪資達4萬元或以上) 40000元 台北市士林區 2~3年工作經驗Job Summary: The Upper School Science Assistant supports the US Science Department in maintaining office spaces, performance of administrative tasks, and in executing other tasks as determined by their direct supervisor. The role serves as the primary administrative liaison for the Science Department Chair and the Director of US Scientific Research, managing event and competition logistics and maintaining financial records in alignment with school protocols to ensure departmental operational continuity. Key Responsibilities: - Administrative & Office Support: Ensure a well-run office by providing administrative support to teachers. This includes scanning and photocopying documents, managing general supplies inventory, maintaining office orderliness, and communicating with all TAS community members. - Procurement & Vendor Management 1)Independent Procurement: Independently communicate with internal TAS departments and external vendors to prepare both standard and highly specialized purchase orders. 2)End-to-End Management: Manage the end-to-end procurement procedure to ensure the unique, time-sensitive purchasing needs of the science and science research departments are met. Ensure all transactions strictly align with school protocols and departmental standards. 3)Monitor PO statuses, reconcile deliveries against orders, resolve vendor discrepancies independently, and ensure accurate financial record-keeping for department budget tracking. - Inquiry & Communication Management: Respond to general inquiries and relay messages to teachers, including the timely distribution of call slips. Ensure a smooth flow of communication both within and outside the department. Act as an effective communicator in Mandarin and English to transit necessary information through documentation, oral responses, and reports. - Departmental Event & Supervisor Support: Provide high-level, proactive administrative support to the Science Department Chair and the Director of US Scientific Research on complex assignments. Anticipate Supervisors‘ needs to help streamline daily operations and departmental workflows. - Event Logistics & Competition Management: Manage the end-to-end logistical execution for all Science Department events, outings, and major milestones (such as the annual Science Symposium). This includes serving as the primary vendor and operational liaison. - Oversee the administration of student entries for external competitions: Ensure all required data, registration materials, and submissions are processed with a high rate of accuracy and strictly within established timelines. - Health, Safety & Emergency Support: Work closely with science technician to act as the central administrative emergency contact and communications hub for all science classrooms and laboratory settings, in a timely manner. 10-month position every school year Work Schedule: 07:30 AM to 16:00 PM, inclusive 0.5 hour lunch break Expected Start Date: August 2026. Facilities Manager
面議(經常性薪資達4萬元或以上) 40000元 台北市士林區 5~6年工作經驗Job Summary: The Facilities Manager reports directly to the Director of Operations and is responsible for overseeing the overall daily housekeeping, cleaning, and facilities operations for all of the TAS buildings. The Facilities Manager supervises the daily work of the contracted housekeeping company, manages the Facilities Office, and coordinates the school facility reservation in order to ensure school cleanliness and safety. The Facilities Manager will also take on the responsibility of overseeing the Transportation Office to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient transportation services that support the needs of the school community. The facilities Manager also oversees the daily operation of the mailroom, and act as the primary TAS liaison with the 4th floor food service contractor ensuring effective communication and coordination. The Facilities Manager will participate in the development of the Facilities Module within TAS‘s open-source ERP system. Working closely with the ERP System Architect and other stakeholders, the Facilities Manager will help define facilities-related data requirements and provide operational input to support effective system design and implementation. Key Responsibilities: • Supervises and evaluates the performance of the contracted housekeeping company through daily communication, generating work orders, daily spot checks in various parts of the buildings and resolving any issues, ensuring assigned tasks and expectations are completed per the agreed timelines. • Manages the Facilities Office by creating SOPs, providing training and guidance, coordinating schedules, approving service orders, creating performance standards and evaluating facilities staff. • Oversees the Facilities Supervisor whose primary duties are to manage the Sport Facilities Support Staff and to coordinate PE, Athletics and Rental schedules. • Coordinates facilities and housekeeping schedules with Maintenance Department to avoid overlap and conflicts. • Maintains relationships with outside vendors by coordinating housekeeping, moving, recycling, trash disposal and other facilities-related contractors. • Oversees a transportation program with emphasis on service, safety, efficient routing, regulatory compliance, communications, budget and bus vendor management. • Act as the primary TAS liaison with the 4th floor food service contractor, ensuring effective communication and coordination. o Provide the food service contractor with all relevant information, including TAS-required training, school calendars, operational schedules, and other related updates. o Review the monthly management fee invoices for accuracy and process payments in accordance with TAS procedures.展開 -

The role also supports HR governance functions and workplace compliance requirements, ensuring alignment with school policies, safeguarding standards, and applicable Taiwan regulatory obligations, with a particular focus on workplace bullying prevention ,documentation integrity, and audit readiness. Working closely with the Director of Human Resources, the position provides operational support in the coordination of occupational health and safety (OHS) services and related compliance requirements, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders. Core Duties and Responsibilities: Performance Management & Professional Development Administration -Coordinate and administer support staff performance management processes, including timelines, documentation, tracking, and procedural guidance. -Coordinate support staff professional development (PD) programs and initiatives, including needs assessment support, registration, scheduling, attendance tracking, budget monitoring, and record maintenance. -Maintain professional development records and support reporting on participation, completion, and development activities. -Assist in the administration of individual development plans, performance improvement plans, and related follow-up activities. -Ensure accurate and confidential maintenance of performance and professional development records for support staff.
