•Responsible for implementing and maintaining the Lounge Floor Legendary Quality Experiences – LQE •Responsible for ordering Food & Beverage items as forecasted •Ensure staffs’ punctuality, uniforms, personal hygiene and grooming standards •Handle complaints professionally and follow through to ensure guest satisfaction taking into mind the best interest of the hotel where decisions are made •Greet and meet important guests arriving or leaving the hotel •Assist with the recruitment of new colleagues and career development of current colleagues •Take full responsibility of Lounge Floor’s operations •To perform duties as and when assigned by the Lounge Floor Manager •To work closely with Front Office Assistant Manager for any irregularity and incidents •Ensure Lounge Floor’s information is share with all colleagues at all time. •Monitor reservation / house status of Lounge Floor •Fully complied and implement Yield Management of Lounge Floor •Ensure Rooms allocation is properly carry out as according to specific request and preferences •To monitor next day’s Lounge Floor VIP arrival, action accordingly to ensure smooth preparation of guest arrival

•The Guest Experience Officer is responsible and accountable for all operations in Experience to the Guest Experience section whilst on duty. All duties and tasks performed are to be procedurally correct, timely and consistently, effective and efficient work practices and guest service standards, that the guests’ first and last impressions of the hotel are lasting ones of genuine warmth and friendliness and of high standards. •To ensure that all guests of the hotel are checked in and checked out in an efficient, yet warm and friendly manner. •To ensure that all guests are provided with concise information concerning the services and facilities provided by the hotel. •Responsible for ongoing communication of pertinence using the logbook provided to other shifts. •Responsible for ensuring that clear and constant communication lines are kept with all staff, other area and Departments. •To ensure that all guest enquiries and requests are attended to in a helpful, professional yet warm and friendly manner. •To ensure on a daily basis that you are fully aware of all arrivals to the Hotel, and in particular, VIP’s and return guests, and that you are aware of any special requests so that they may be acted accordingly. •To ensure that you are completely aware of the complete range of services and facilities that the hotel provides to its guests and visitors. •To ensure you have a complete and thorough knowledge of the outlets of the hotel, their operating hours and the scope of services that they provide. •To be completely aware of the Fire and Emergency Procedures of the hotel and your responsibilities in an emergency. •To acquire, through training provided, a complete knowledge of all policies and policies as set down by the hotel that relate specifically to the Guest Experience. •To ensure at all times that personal presentation is immaculate and your uniform or work clothes are in line with relevant Guest Experience and Hotel uniform and clothing codes. •To ensure that you as a Guest Experience Officer at the hotel have a comprehensive knowledge of city, and what is happening within the city at all times, and to ensure that all guest enquiries are met with prompt, informative yet friendly solution. •To maintain and be aware of the importance of guest recognition. •Responsible for adhering to the rules and regulations of the hotel as set down in the Staff Handbook. •To actively promote the services, facilities and standards of the hotel at every opportunity, and uphold its image at all times. •Through effective and creative promotion of the Hotel’s facilities and services, ensure that the opportunities for revenue, increased departmental profits and facility usage are maximized. •To be understanding, supportive and encouraging to all. •Reports directly to the Guest Experiences Supervisor. •To assist and carry out other duties as required and directed.

•Ensures all colleagues maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and grooming at all times. •Ensures colleagues wear designated uniforms which are well pressed and in a good state of repair and that name badges are worn at all times. •Maintains a good knowledge of all hotel facilities and is able to answer guest questions in a quick, polite and helpful manner. •Handles guest complaints or problems promptly, ensuring that any resolved/unresolved incidents are reported to the manager in a timely manner •Ensures statutory rules and regulations are adhered to e.g. Health & Safety at Work, Weights and Measures, licensing laws etc. •Demonstrates security conscious behaviours in respect of guests, colleagues and hotel property / welfare and reports suspicious circumstances to the Manager •Attends meetings and training sessions that may be beneficial personally or to the restaurant operation •Train, evaluate and schedule all IRD colleagues in accordance with the standards of the company policies and guidelines. •Develop and implement system for checking maintenance of tabletop supplies through staff side work duties. •To supervise the maintenance and cleanliness of the IRD at all time •Identify areas for improvement in service and food & beverage quality by reviewing various service quality audit reports, guest comment cards and guest incident reports, and formulate action plans. •To encourage proactive, efficient and effective inter-departmental communication in order to promote a climate of teamwork and enthusiasm. •To schedule all colleagues to maintain the service standards of Mandarin Oriental while operating within budgeted labor cost guidelines. •Ensure accuracy of all menus: current, correct, spelled correctly, clean and presentable.
