Teach children’s English classes and design interactive, engaging activities that capture students’ attention. 2. Plan and prepare lesson materials, including curriculum design, handouts, and appropriate audiovisual teaching aids. 3. Monitor student progress, evaluate learning outcomes, and adjust teaching strategies to enhance learning effectiveness. 4. Assist in planning and executing seasonal events, festivals, and related extracurricular activities, integrating English learning into daily life. 5. Conduct demonstration classes to showcase professional teaching skills and attract prospective students and parents. 6. Maintain effective communication with parents by providing learning feedback, progress updates, and educational guidance. 7. Support teaching-related administrative tasks, including student management, attendance records, and course reports. 8. Participate in ongoing internal training and teaching workshops to continuously improve professional knowledge and instructional skills. Qualifications • Must possess a valid work permit for foreign nationals in Taiwan (ARC or APRC). *****MONTESSORI PHONICS TEACHERS ******Students from 4.5-6 years old are what Montessori would call a sensitive learning period of time. It is the best time to start language learning. In our phonics classroom, we work with students from 4.5-6 years old, utilize all Montessori phonics teaching materials and teaching philosophy. All candidate must have clear English pronunciation, understanding of Mandarin, willingness to learn and grow, and most importantly love of guiding children. We provide complimentary Montessori workshops before the start of the class. ***** Elementary EFL TEACHERS ***** Our vision and goal is to have students to be the active learners in the classroom. Teachers are encouraged to create a student-centered and activity- based learning environment. A set curriculum and syllabus that emphasizes reading, writing, listening, speaking, grammar and vocabulary is provided. All first year Columbia Teachers will receive a complimentary in- house boot camp workshop to better prepare them before the class . We prefer candidates who are located in Taiwan already or are coming soon. A face-to-face interview and demo is a must for the position. A one-year contract is required.
