Job Summary: The Senior Cost Accountant is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting all aspects of production costs within the factory. This role ensures accurate cost allocation, supports budget planning, and provides management with actionable insights to optimize production efficiency and profitability. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of finance experience, including at least 5 years specializing in cost accounting within a manufacturing or high-tech environment. Key Responsibilities: • Manage product costing activities including recording and allocation of materials, labor, and manufacturing overhead. • Maintain standard costing and perform variance analysis to evaluate financial impact on P&L. • Collaborate with Supply Chain to monitor inventory levels, perform inventory counts, and ensure accurate stock reporting. • Conduct inventory analysis including E&O and low-margin items to identify profitability risks. • Analyze manufacturing cost drivers and production efficiency to support budgeting, forecasting, and cost process improvements.
