Technical Writing & Localization 團隊扮演著 Garmin 與亞洲使用者之間橋樑的角色。負責將 Garmin 穿戴裝置等產品的說明文件、介面文字、宣傳文案等內容在地化，確保各個領域的使用者都能感受到原汁原味的體驗。
我們正在尋找一位具備職人精神的韓文與英文的雙語專家。你對文字的精確度有著異常的執著，能敏銳察覺語氣中微小的變化，並享受在不同專業領域中鑽研術語，提供最道地的使用體驗。

The Technical Writing & Localization team serves as the bridge between Garmin and our users across Asia. We are responsible for localizing a wide range of content—including instruction manuals, UI strings, and marketing copy—for wearables and various other product lines. Our goal is to ensure that users in diverse specialized fields can fully experience our products exactly as intended.
We are seeking a bilingual localization expert fluent in Korean and either English or Japanese. You possess a strong passion for linguistic precision and are highly perceptive to the subtle tonal nuances of word choice. You thrive on researching specialized terminology across various professional domains to deliver the most authentic user experience possible.
Your mission extends beyond simple translation. You are here to ensure that Garmin engages users with the most authoritative, authentic voice across all specialized domains and user touchpoints.
【工作內容】
• 深度在地化編審：負責 Garmin 裝置及軟體 UI 字串、產品說明文件，以及相關文案的韓文翻譯與檢核，確保內容同時保留原文意涵且符合韓國當地的語法習慣與文化脈絡。
• 手冊的編排發行：按照流程及規範，在時程內完成亞洲多語手冊的編排與發行。
• 語言資產維護：持續維護更新韓文 Localization Guide，確保韓文翻譯在各平台間的正確性與一致性。
• 多元領域研究：主動鑽研如高爾夫、潛水、健身訓練、帆船賽等各類專業領域，建立韓國當地最適合的用語字庫，確保符合在地專業人士的用字習慣。
【需具備條件】
• 韓文文字表達能力：TOPIK 6 級。
• 英文閱讀理解能力：TOEIC 800 分以上或同等證明。
• 快速學習並掌握新領域知識的能力。
• 對細節吹毛求疵的職人精神。
• 以精簡文字、版面或圖像清楚溝通複雜問題的能力。
• 熱衷於發現問題並積極解決問題。
【Responsibilities】
• In-Depth Localization & Review: Translate and review Korean UI strings, product manuals, and related copy for Garmin devices and software. Ensure the output preserves the original intent while naturally fitting Korean grammatical conventions and cultural nuances.
• Manual Layout & Publishing: Format and publish multilingual instruction manuals for the Asian market within project timelines, strictly adhering to established workflows and guidelines.
• Language Asset Management: Continuously update and maintain the Korean Localization Guide and translation database to ensure translation accuracy and consistency across all platforms.
• Specialized Domain Research: Proactively research professional fields such as golf, diving, fitness training, and sailing. Build and refine a localized terminology database to ensure our vocabulary aligns with the exact habits of local Korean professionals.
【Required Qualifications]
• Korean Proficiency: Native speaker or TOPIK Level 6.
• English Comprehension: TOEIC score of 800 or above, or an equivalent certification.
• Ability to quickly learn and master knowledge in new, specialized domains.
• Meticulous attention to detail with a true craftsman‘s dedication to quality.
• The ability to communicate complex issues clearly using concise text, layouts, or visuals.
• A proactive problem-solver who is passionate about identifying and resolving issues.
