Position Title: Product Manager – Steel Pipes / Seamless Tubes
Your Mission
As our Product Manager, you will be the driving force behind our products. You will need to deeply understand the dynamics of the steel pipe market, identify customer pain points, and work closely with cross-functional teams—including engineering, sales, and supply chain—to translate product strategy into actionable plans. Your goal is to ensure our products remain at the forefront of the market, meeting customer needs while generating long-term business value.
Key Responsibilities
Market Insights & Strategy Development: Conduct market research and customer interviews to uncover new product opportunities, and define the long-term vision and strategy for our products.
Requirements Management & Product Planning: Gather and analyze requirements from customers and internal teams, draft detailed product requirement documents, and prioritize effectively to optimize development resources.
Cross-Functional Communication & Collaboration: Act as the communication bridge across engineering, sales, supply chain, and marketing teams to ensure smooth progress from concept to market launch.
Product Launch & Performance Tracking: Plan and execute product launches, continuously track market performance, and drive product iterations and optimizations based on data insights.
What We’re Looking For
Strategic Thinking: Ability to evaluate the steel pipe market from a broad perspective and craft effective business strategies.
Customer Empathy: Willingness to understand the work scenarios and pain points of customers (e.g., engineers, procurement managers) and translate them into product requirements.
Strong Communication & Coordination Skills: Capable of clearly articulating ideas, persuading diverse stakeholders, and resolving conflicts effectively.
Industry Knowledge: Background in industrial materials, steel, metal processing, or related fields is preferred. Candidates without direct experience must demonstrate strong capacity for rapid learning.
Data-Driven Mindset: Ability to analyze data to evaluate product performance and make fact-based decisions.
