DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION Our team is responsible for mobile software and backend server applications for some of Garmin’s largest consumer-facing applications. We operate globally, collaborating with teams in the US, Europe, and Taiwan to deliver services for over thirty countries. The Taiwan team focuses on backend, platform, and mobile (iOS/Android) development, supporting hundreds of devices and millions of users. JOB DESCRIPTION Site Reliability Engineers at Garmin work with international teams to manage large-scale cloud platforms. Responsibilities include designing highly available systems, ensuring reliable cloud services, and implementing self-healing mechanisms. The role ensures the integrity of Garmin‘s production environment is maintained and that all releases into the environment are well-organized, communicated, and managed.
