About the opportunity Working as part of a high-performing team, you will apply your technical skill and knowledge to deliver fully maintained and serviceable flight simulators to Ansett Aviation Asia(〝AAA〝)’s customers. Position Overview This is an exciting full-time role covering aspects of Electronics, Aircraft simulation, and modern computing. The Simulator Technician works as part of a team applying technical knowledge to operate and maintain fully serviced flight simulators for use by AAA’s customers. Requires complex fault-finding skills to quickly isolate and repair faults to the flight simulators. Key Responsibilities • Daily maintenance to ensure simulators are ready for training. • Performing line maintenance to rectify crew-reported faults. • Carrying out maintenance to the required standards. • Ensuring simulators are compliant with CAA/EASA regulations. • Installing and updating software as required. • Provide technical support and assistance to simulator upgrade projects. • Participate in continuous improvement activities. • Delivering outcomes, in a timely, responsive, customer-focused, and quality-driven manner. • Committed to working safely and ensuring all OHS instructions, policies, and procedures are applied. • Other tasks as requested by the manager within the skillset. Key Skills and Experience • Electronic systems • System fault diagnosis to a board level. • Computer Networking skills. • Sound analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills. • Sound communication skills, including the ability to professionally liaise with colleagues and customers at all levels. • Ability to work as an effective member of a team as well as independently under routine supervision. • A demonstrated commitment to providing high levels of customer service. Key Responsibilities: • Develop QA strategy in coordination with the Quality Manager for the project • Create, maintain and ensure the execution of the QA Plan for the project • Track and monitor QA activities throughout the project lifecycle • Define, monitor and report quality KPIs at project level • Prepare and report quality status report, highlighting non-conformities and quality risks, to project management • Define the escalation process to ensure that identified non-conformities are addressed and resolved effectively • Perform internal gap analysis at project level to assess compliance with A-SPICE processes • Conduct work product reviews, audits and process compliance checks within the project • Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective and preventive actions • Support project teams in preparing for internal and/or external A-SPICE assessments • Facilitate lessons learned sessions and collaborate closely with software and systems engineering teams to implement A-SPICE process improvements and ensure alignment with functional safety standards • Ensure proper documentation and traceability across the development lifecycle, particularly for the SUP.1 process • Contribute to the definition, deployment and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) • Support the definition and refinement of the Product Development Process in alignment with organizational and project-specific quality requirements

Key Responsibilities: • Lead V&V teams across software, hardware, and system domains. • Coordinate test activities with design, development, quality, and customer teams. • Creation of specifications and tests for the AI module, including integration test and system test • Define V&V milestones aligned with project timelines and product releases. • Support audits and assessments (ASPICE, ISO 26262, OEM-specific processes). • Develop and maintain test strategy, test plans, and test specifications. • Define validation environments (HiL, SiL, vehicle test, test benches, simulation). • Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and results. • Oversee execution of unit, integration, system, and acceptance testing. • Approve test procedures and ensure correct usage of test tools and equipment. • Review test results, analyze defects, and drive corrective actions. • Ensure proper documentation for compliance and release readiness. • Oversee the validation of AI and Vision models, evaluating their accuracy, robustness, and performance metrics. • Establish standardized validation workflows by developing automated scripts for vision-related testing and data analysis. • Provide actionable optimization recommendations to the development team based on empirical test results and performance analysis. • Ensure alignment with automotive standards such as: ASPICE (Automotive SPICE), ISO 26262 (Functional Safety), ISO 21448 (SOTIF), OEM-specific requirements (Toyota, Honda, VW, GM, etc.) • Build and lead a V&V team of 4 members, defining clear testing lifecycles, bug tracking standards, and reporting protocols for AI-driven products.

Key Responsibilities:  Use simulators (e.g., ANSYS, Carla) to perform environment modeling, including scene construction, weather parameter adjustment, lighting, object modeling, and texture mapping.  Generate synthetic datasets based on data specifications and requirements, ensuring the quality and consistency of the synthesized data.  Produce ground truth for AI training, including semantic segmentation masks, depth maps, and bounding boxes …, etc.  Collaborate with Perception Algorithm Engineers to refine simulation environments and parameters based on model training needs, ensuring the “sim-to-real” gap is minimized.
