1. Monitoring vessel container / air shipments movement through the tracking system
2. Arranges transportation and forwarding services for all orders to ensure material is delivered as per schedule.
3. Responsible for all duty and tax and compliance with governmental policy.
4. Coordinates Import & Export shipments.
5. Import/Export cost review: freight and bill checking
6. Shipping documents generation/preparation and update
7. Syteline navigation
8. Preparing reports as requested by management
9. Supporting procurement work and related processes
10. Supporting on strategic relationships with carriers, process improvements, strategic lanes to and market testing.
Required Skills:
– Able to speak, read, and write in English.
– Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Capable of strategically
analyzing and interpreting data. Moderate level Excel skills and data
analysis experience.
– Strong time management and organizational skills. The ability to work a
flexible schedule in order to accommodate large projects.
– Good comprehension skills. Strong communication skills for interacting
with internal team members and external suppliers both domestically and
internationally.
Beneficial Qualities:
– 2-5 years experience on international container movement.
– 1-2 year Fastener experience or minimum business-related preferred.
knowledge and experience in international trading, sales or purchasing.
– Negotiating experience and/or knowledge of negotiating techniques.
Requirements
– College degree in international business, supply chain, economics, finance or related area; relevant experience equal to a four-year degree will be considered.
– Willing and motivated to develop skills to take on additional responsibilities.
– Highly motivated with the ability to work on projects and make sound decisions based on strategic objectives.
